How does the system calculate the oil change date?
You set the oil interval in kilometers on the My Cars page. When you log an oil change, the system automatically computes the next due date as last change + interval.
How does the filter reminder work?
You set "filter every N oil changes" (e.g. every 2), so the filter interval = oil interval × that number.
Why are tires and battery tracked by months instead of km?
Rubber and batteries degrade with time, not just usage, so tracking by months from the installation date is more accurate.
Can I add more than one car?
Yes, you can add unlimited cars, each with fully independent settings and history.
When do I get email reminders?
The system sends a reminder 7 days before any document (registration, inspection, insurance) expires, or when oil, filter, tire, or battery maintenance is due soon.
Is my data secure?
Yes, passwords are fully hashed, the site runs over encrypted HTTPS, and database credentials are stored outside public access.
How do I delete my account?
From the "My profile" page, at the bottom, enter your password to confirm and your account and all data will be permanently deleted.
